Delicacies Cookbook

I designed this cookbook for my former drawing professor at Dominican University, Jeffery Cote de Luna. Quite frankly, I have never met someone like Jeffery: just the way he lives his life and works is like something I have never seen before. He knew exactly what he wanted for this project and came in with a clear vision in mind. Specifically, he stated he wanted no trace of his art side and opted for a simpler yet elegant look. After he sent the photos and recipes (all done by him), it was evident why he wanted to go this direction. I don’t know a whole lot about food and have a self-proclaimed palette-of-a-four-year-old, so know I have never seen food quite like his. The sophisticated layout and presentation were complemented by his to the point and sometimes witty writing. Needless to say, this cookbook was an enjoyable ride to create, and one of my personal favorite pieces.
